Obituary for Danielle Elyse Nussbaum Puffer

Danielle Elyse Nussbaum Puffer
Danielle Elyse Nussbaum Puffer, 27, of Spring Creek, Nevada, passed away April 19, 2017, of a sudden illness.

Danielle was born June 4, 1989, in Cheyenne to Dennis Nussbaum and Sheila Nussbaum.

Danielle lived Rock Springs until her 9th grade when she moved to Burns to attend high school. She was a cheerleader and was active in the music program and played clarinet. She moved back to Rock Springs after high school, attended Western Wyoming Community College and married Weston Puffer on December 19, 2009. They have two beautiful children, Wynter James and Madelynn Rose. At the time of her death, she was living with her children and good friends, Lucas and Denyell De La Paz.

Danielle was currently working at Great Basin College Preschool in Elko, NV as a teacher’s assistant and taking on-line college classes.

Danielle loved spending time with her children, family and friends. She had a love for white roses and enjoyed watching old Disney movies and it was watching Alice in Wonderland where she first saw a white rose and this is where her love for them started. She enjoyed cooking, baking, camping, fishing and hunting.

Danielle is survived by her husband, Weston Puffer; her children, Wynter and Madelynn Puffer; her parents, Dennis and Joy Nussbaum and Sheila and Lonnie Kurth; in-laws, Robert and Monali Peters and Lenzy Puffer; brother, Donovan and Carrie Nussbaum; step-brothers, Jared and Heather Poulsen, Colby Poulsen, Chantz and Leanne Poulsen, Ty Poulsen and Jace Poulsen; grandmothers, Wauneta (Mundschenk) Lutes and Verdena Bunderson; grandfather, Dave Nussbaum; great-grandmother, Betty Nussbaum; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Danielle was preceded in death by grandparents, George and Susan Littlefield; grandfathers, Dick Lutes and Arden Bunderson; great-grandparents, Leonard and Francella David, Clarence and Mildred Mundschenk and Claude Nussbaum; and cousins, Sierra Deselms and John Mundschenk.

Danielle rests in our hearts as the angel she was to everyone she knew. Her personality was infectious to all she met. Witty, sweet and her use of sarcasm were just a few of her many attributes. Her family holds her precious memories close to our hearts and may she rest in peace in the precious arms of Jesus.

A memory service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Burns-Plex, 327 Main Street, Burns, WY with The Reverend Delbert Hansen officiating. Private interment services will be held in the Burns Cemetery.

Condolences may be offered to the family on-line at www.schradercares.com.
