Rose Grashorn

September 1, 1956 — October 1, 2021

Rose M. Grashorn, 65, of Burns passed away October 1, 2021 at home with her family by her side.

She was born September 1, 1956 in Fort Collins, CO, the daughter of Tony & Juanita Meza.  She graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1975.  She married Patrick Grashorn on August 30, 1975 and they recently celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary.  Together they raised their three sons, Mathew, Gordon, and John in Gilcrest, CO.

Rose enjoyed driving a school bus for Greeley District 6 for 17 years and then managed the school bus garage for an additional 10 years.

Rose loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was an avid hunter and loved to go camping and fishing.   Rose’s latest hunting expedition was to Africa where she shot three of the big five.

She enjoyed watching professional sports and was a Denver Broncos and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan.  She also loved to sew.

Rose is survived by her husband, Patrick; children, Mathew, Gordon, and John; grandchildren, Christian, Gavin, Gracie, Jameson, and Gabriel.  She was an aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Gracie.

A celebration of life will be held at the family home in Burns, WY on October 9, 2021 at 1:00.
