Andrew J. Valdez, 51, of Cheyenne died April 1, 2011 in Cheyenne. He was born October 6, 1959 in Cheyenne to Julian Valdez, Sr. and Minnie Valdez. He married Loretta Trujillo on February 14, 1987 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was formerly employed at Roedel's Pharmacy. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Valdez of Cheyenne; mother Minnie Valdez of Cheyenne; sisters, Lorine Vega of Cheyenne and Elizabeth Pacheco of Thermopolis; brothers, Leo Valdez, Julian Valdez, Jr., Eddie Valdez, Roque Valdez all of Cheyenne. He was preceded in death by his father, Julian Valdez, Sr. and a sister Edith Valdez. Visitation will be Monday 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Vigil for the Deceased and a Funeral Liturgy will be announced. Those who wish may contribute to the Hispanic Organization for Progress and Education (HOPE), P.O. Box 3194, Cheyenne, WY 82003.
