Ashley L Sheehan

Ashley L Sheehan, a devoted animal lover, passed away on March 18, 2026, in Cheyenne. Born on August 1, 1986, in Denver, Ashley’s life was marked by warmth, creativity, and a deep love for her family and animals.

Known for her radiant smile and infectious laugh, Ashley will be remembered for her incredible sense of humor that could lighten the mood in any room. She cherished spending time with her family and beloved pets.  She was a true foodie, delighting in the exploration of flavors and the sharing of meals with loved ones.  She also enjoyed a good movie, playing video games or working on her art.

As a proud participant in the Jefferson County Westernaires drill team during her youth, Ashley enjoyed the camaraderie and spirited activity of this group. The friendships made there carried on into her adult life.  

Ashley is survived by her mother, Lori Dey of Cheyenne, WY; her siblings Jason (Jennifer) Sheehan of Owatonna, MN, Luke (Amy) Sheehan of Parker, CO, and Jennifer (Richard) Hoeltzner of Watertown, SD; and seven nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Sheehan.

Her family, friends, and all who knew her will remember Ashley for her gentle spirit and unwavering love for those around her. She leaves behind a lasting impression of kindness and creativity, cherished by all whose lives she touched.
