Austin passed away at his home in Burns, Wyoming on December 9, 2022. He was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on July 4, 1990 to Michael and Alice Humphrey.
When you are born on the 4th of July, you are bound to be a firecracker, or M80, and that was the case with Austin.
Austin never could be fenced in. He loved hunting, trapping, fishing and being on the road to a rodeo with his pards.
Austin loved Bull Riding and even after a ride on February 13, 2016 left him with a spinal cord injury, he never lost his passion. He continued to hunt, follow his fellow riders and he and his dad sold salsa at rodeos as "Two Broke Cowboys".
Over these last several years he took many a re-ride in his mind.
Austin is survived by his parents, Mike Humphrey of Burns, Wyoming and Alice Humphrey of Cheyenne, Wyoming; uncle Tracy Frye and cousin Jessica Frye; aunt Susan (Chuck) Mills and cousins Casey (Rachel) Mills, Brian Mills, Katie Mills (James O'Malley) and Payden.
Austin was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Boyd and Joyce Frye and Gary and Irene Humphrey.
Austin is forever loved and missed by his family, his friends and his rodeo Family.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Justin Backlund, Nick Djakovich, Marty Custer, Trapper Lahoe, Clayton Savage and Kelby True.
