Barbara (Barb) Luck Chrisman Rodgers

Barb Luck Chrisman Rodgers passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026 after suffering a traumatic head injury on May 30, 2026 at the age of 78 in Scottsbluff Nebraska.

Barb was born on November 11, 1947 to Robert Warren and Ann Wallquist Luck in Nyack, New York.

She is survived by son Darrell and (Grace) Chrisman, daughter Kelli Chrisman and (Les) Shuey, Grandchildren Eric Chrisman, Sara and (Matthew) Sharp, Meagan Shuey and Rylee Shuey. Siblings Suzanne and (Jack) Preiss, Margaret Luck, Robert and (Tammy) Luck and Sally and (Tommy) Prejean. She had numerous cousins and their families.

Barb was preceded in death by parents Robert W. And Ann W. Luck, nephew Michael A. Preiss and husband (Dennis) Moose Rodgers.

Following graduating from Parsippany High School in Parsippany, New Jersey in 1966, she worked briefly for Bell Telephone in Morristown, New Jersey. After marrying Ron Chrisman on September 27, 1969, they moved to Akron, Ohio.

Barb was a homemaker while raising Darrell and Kelli. She had a prolific vegetable garden and canned and froze her produce. Barb loved to sew, knit, and crochet and even made beautifully tailored suits for Ron. Years later, Barb and Ron divorced.

The Summit County Prosecutor’s Office was her next career as Office Manager. After Barb and Moose moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1998, they were married a few years later. Her next career as an Office Manager was working for McDonald’s of Cheyenne from 1998 to 2024.

Barb was raised in the Presbyterian Church and was a caring, giving, generous woman that left a big impression on everyone she met. A friend to all!

Schrader, Aragon, Jacoby Funeral Home, Officiated by Rev. Bob Gerard, will provide the service on July 10th at 10:30 AM followed by a Luncheon 11-1 provided by Ranch Eats and a Graveside service at 1:30. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
