Barbara Virginia Winegeart, 79, of Cheyenne passed away at her home on August 16, 2026. Barbara was born on July 20, 1947 in Sunrise, Wyoming to Joseph and Tomasa Delgado. She graduated from Guernsey-Sunrise High School in 1966. She married Steve Winegeart on March 3, 1973. Barbara worked at Mountain Bell, later US West and Qwest, for 24 years. She then worked at East High School for 13 years.

She is survived by her children Steve (Lilly) Winegeart, Melissa (Kelly) Clark; granddaughter Megan Clark and step-grandson Trevon Gonzales all of Cheyenne. She is also survived by her brothers Eddie (Geraldine) Delgado of Guernsey, Tony (Kristy) Delgado of Casper, and Pete (Denise) Delgado of Wheatland; sisters Jenny Delgado of Aurora, CO and Dawndrea (Darrell) Daly of Guernsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson Chaze Winegeart; sisters Maria Bales and Sylvia Hull and brother Joe Delgado.

Catholic graveside services and internment will take place at Prairie Rest Cemetery in Guernsey, Wyoming on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Raymond Moss officiating. A reception will follow at the Guernsey VFW, 42 S. Idaho Ave. following the service.
