She worked for her beloved Hitching Post, where she was a staple at the front desk and was the front desk manager. She especially loved legislative season and made friends with many of the legislators who came year after year.
After 20 years of being divorced from Kenneth, they reconnected; he came to Cheyenne, and they became a couple again but never remarried. He was her faithful companion for life.
Bobbie fell in love with the cabin owned by her daughter-in-law's family in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. She spent many days fishing and on the lake as it reminded her of her beloved Cobb Island.
Bobbie had seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren when she passed. At the end of her life, she was surrounded and cared for in-home hospice by her son Robert Lee Huylar and her daughter-in-law Lynn Storey-Huylar, as it was her wish to die at home.
