Ceralia Solis

Ceralia Solis returned home to God in the final day of her 95th year on the eve of her 96th birthday.  She was at home with her son and her longtime caregiver and dear friend.

She lived a vigorous life, touching many lives with her love and generosity. She cared for many generations of her family and many others who she made her family.  She was to them an example of a Christian life well spent by her devotion to God and the well-being of others and the wisdom that comes from it.

She is preceded in death by husband, Arthur; and one daughter, Joyce. She is survived by three children, Nathaniel, Kimberly and Patricia, and grandson, Ethan.

A visitation will be held at the Cathedral of St. Mary on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Vigil for the Deceased at 7:30 p.m.  A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, August 20th at 1:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Mary with interment to follow at Olivet Cemetery.  A reception at Little America will follow the interment service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to St. Joseph's Food Pantry.
