Loving husband and father, Charles E. Bush passed away May 18, 2024, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Cheyenne, WY at the age of 90. Charles was born on October 6, 1933, in Columbia County, WI to Arthur and Violet (Kidney) Bush.

Charles (Chuck) met and married the love of his life Mary A. Monthey August 20, 1955. Within a couple of months, Mary joined Chuck on his Army tour to Germany. While in Germany they took advantage of the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and within a short time, they became busy young parents with their first child Sandra and shortly after discovered they were going to have twins, Deanna & Deborah.

Shortly after the twins were born Chuck was discharged from the Army and they moved back home to Portage/Pardeeville, Wisc. area.  Chuck got a job as a Manager of the Sears Roebuck Catalog store in Portage.  This began the journey of many relocations with the company including; the upper and lower peninsula of Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and finally ending in Wyoming.  Wyoming was always the main objective as hunting, traveling and camping have always played a big part in their lives.

Chuck and Mary celebrated their  68th wedding anniversary before Mary passed still holding hands and kissing each other often. The retirement years were filled with hunting elk, deer, and antelope. They continued traveling including the big RV trip to Alaska for most of the summer. For years they spent the Wyoming winters in the RV on their lot in Texas near the Rio Grande.

Chuck is survived by daughters Sandra Bush (Clarence Arnold) of Cheyenne, WY, Deanna Sherby (Keith Vandermeir) of Wheaton, IL,  Deborah (Denny) Kroeger of Eldridge, IA; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Violet Bush; four brothers, Gordon, Kenneth, Russell, & Stan Bush.

By request Chuck was cremated and will be returned to his beloved Mary (Monthey) Bush in St. Andrews Catholic Church Cemetary which was always their desire that they return home where they met and married.  Chuck would often say "Together Forever".
