In Loving Memory of Christina Isabel Lujan, 90, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025 in Cheyenne, WY. She was born on January 17, 1935 in Leadville, CO to Celestino and Maria Montoya.

Christina will be remembered for dancing to Spanish music in the kitchen, taking pictures, her wonderful sense of humor and how she carried herself with grace and poise, rarely seen without her signature hair style and perfect makeup. She spent her life as a loving and caring mother and wife. She worked in dry cleaning for multiple years and as a loving homemaker.

She was the beloved wife of the late Juan G. Lujan for 72 years. Christina was a devoted mother to Kathy, Johnny, Mitzie, Melinda, Loretta and Lorraine and a treasured grandmother to 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her beloved husband, bowling, playing Wii, completing puzzles, getting her hair and nails done  planting flowers and taking care of her dog Bonnie. Her legacy of family and endless love will live on through all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Lujan, Johnny (Andrea) Lujan, Melinda (Johnnie) Duran, Loretta (Rick) Lujan and Lorraine (Mike) Tafoya. Her grandchildren, Leroy Gonzalez, Lena Gonzalez, Gabriel (Megan) Lujan, Abraham (Rhianna) Herrera, Teresa Quintana, Christopher Hicks, Christina (Daniel) Lujan, Gina McCann, Leon (Megan) Maxwell, Priscilla (Chris) Fernandez, Mary (Seth) McCann, and Selena Martinez. Christina was a beloved great-grandmother to Leah Gonzales, Alyssa Gonzales, Isaac (Airon) Gonzales, Javier Tafoya, Jeremiah Tafoya, Matthew Cervantes, Jasmine Tafoya, Emery Maxwell, Katina Gonzales, Neveah Tafoya, Delia Cervantes, Gage Hererra, Silas Hererra, Lorenzo Saenz, Emilio Marquez, Elsie Duran and Mileena Duran and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Juan G. Lujan, daughter, Mitzie (Anthony) Maxwell, grandsons Antonio Lujan and Donald Quintana and her son-in-law, Johnnie Duran.

A private memorial service will be held at Mountview Memorial Park Cemetery on December 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
