Then spent the last 17 years at BCBS of Wyoming, where she not only honed her skills but also built a work family that cherished her presence. Her remarkable ability to connect with others and her naturally infectious smile made each interaction more joyful.
Beyond her career, Chris was a woman of many interests and passions. She found solace and happiness in camping, a hobby that brought her closer to nature and fostered beautiful memories, particularly of summers spent with her children. One of her most treasured experiences was seeing the Grand Canyon last year, a moment she embraced with her characteristic zest for life.

Chris took immense pride in her family, cherishing the bonds she cultivated with her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted sons, Dane and Derrek Kerr, who were her pride and joy. Her journey continues through her grandchildren, Luna Nicholson and Raiden Kerr, who brought light and laughter into her life. She also leaves behind her brothers, Tom and Dan Carney, and her sister, Terri Zumbo, each of whom carries a piece of her gentle spirit.
While Chris’s physical presence may have departed, her laughter, warmth, and indomitable spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lorraine Cobb, father, Thomas Carney, sister, Nancy Sipe, and nephew, Jerry Sipe Jr.
