Clarisa Kay Harris

Clarisa Kay Harris, a kid at heart who loved life, family and and her puppy Ella, passed away Oct. 8 surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Clarisa was born on February 24, 1982, in Greeley, Colorado, and grew to become a beacon of positivity, known for her infectious laughter, warm spirit and unwavering love to those around her.

A proud graduate of Cheyenne Central High School and subsequently earning her Bachelor's Degree from Colorado State University, Clarisa carved a successful path in her professional life. Her career began at Center Partners in Fort Collins. She then moved on to Tennessee, where she obtained her real estate license. Eventually, she joined Insite Managed Solutions as a Consultant in Cape Coral, Florida. Through her remarkable skills and dedication, she rose to the position of Training Manager in October 2021 when she undertook the pivotal role in developing training programs, including one for Delta Faucets, an accomplishment she viewed as a significant milestone in her career.

Beyond her professional achievements, Clarisa cherished her time with family, particularly her beloved nephew, Carter Harris. They shared countless joyous moments, creating cherished memories together. Clarisa was known for her adventurous spirit, which made every trip a delightful experience. Whether it was a journey to the beach, traveling with friends or childhood camping with her sister, she brought fun and excitement everywhere she went. The beach held a special place in her heart; she loved taking her family and friends there, where they could bury their feet in the sand.

Clarisa’s vibrant personality resonated with everyone who crossed her path. With her happy, funny, and loving nature, she embodied the qualities of a true "princess," even wearing tiaras on her birthday and Christmas. Her chill demeanor radiated warmth, making others feel at ease. She had a penchant for the finer things in life, including food and high-end handbags. Clarisa also enjoyed indulging in her creative and artistic hobbies, including building intricate Lego sets.

Clarisa is survived by her mother, Cindy Breno Adams; her sister, Norah Harris; her nephew Carter Harris; and her beloved dog, Ella. Clarisa's memory will forever be cherished by her extended family, including Dustin, Briana, and Derek Gammel and her dear friends Jenny and Kirsten.

Clarisa is reunited in spirit with her deceased father, Charles Harris; her grandmothers, Juanita Harris and Norma Breno; as well as her aunt, Paula Kinyon, and uncle, Joe Breno—all of whom she loved dearly.

Despite her two-and-a-half year battle with cancer, Clarisa continued to enjoy life to the fullest with love, joy, laughter and memories that will be forever etched in the hearts of those she touched.
