Connie Helmer

Connie G. Helmer, 81, of Cheyenne passed away March 26, 2018 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born January 24, 1937 in Gillette, WY to Charles and Mary Wilson. She married Lyle Helmer on December 20, 1958 in Riverton, WY and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary and volunteered and the VA Hospital. She is survived by her children, Laura (Bob) Sigsbury of Cheyenne, Bruce (Cynthia) Helmer of Cheyenne, Corey (Cheryl) Helmer of Cheyenne and Vicki McCall of Cheyenne; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; Brother, Floyd "Dee" Wilson of Gillette. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Fred Wilson, Philip Wilson, Wade Wilson, Edward Wilson, Everett Wilson, Betty Harvard and Viola Calvert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Services and cremation are under the care of Schrader, Aragon Jacoby Funeral Home.
