David Barker, 72, of Cheyenne, died December 22, 2010 at Davis Hospice Center. He was born October 15, 1938 in Mt. Sterling, IL to Raymond Pl and Edna L. Barker. He married Anna Lepas on February 14, 1976. He was a supervisor State of Wyoming Dept. of Administration and Information. He was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. He was a member of the Cheyenne Airport Golf Club and was a member of Elk’s Lodge #660. As a member of Elk’s, he was the State President in 1990-91. He served as district Deputy in 1982-83, a Special Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler in 1996-99, a member of the Grand Lodge Ritualistic Committee from 1999-2004 and served the last two years as Chairman. He is currently a member of the Grand Lodge Auditing and Accounting Committee. He is the Treasurer of the local Elk’s Lodge #660. In his spare time, you could find him fishing or golfing. He is survived by his wife, Anna Barker of Cheyenne and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Barker and a sister, Donna Jones. Visitation will be Sunday 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Trisagion will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Schrader Chapel. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Interment will follow in Beth El Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by The American Legion Honor Guard. Those who wish may contribute to Sts.
