David Simmons

David Simmons, a steadfast and devoted man, left this world on June 4, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 16, 1954, in Denver, Colorado, David lived a life marked by service, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the Lord and the well-being of those around him.

David married the love of his life, Lisa, in September of 1975.

David's journey began with a distinguished career in the Air Force, where he served from 1972 to 1992 in security. His time in the military instilled in him a strong sense of duty and honor that he carried into his civilian life. After leaving the service, he dedicated himself to a career in security, embodying the principles of vigilance and protection that he had embraced during his years in the Air Force. 

Known for his strong will, David faced life's challenges with grace and determination. His proudest accomplishments extended far beyond his professional life. He was renowned for his loving heart and his desire to give back to others. Whether it was through acts of kindness or lending a helping hand, David continually sought to uplift those around him. His compassion touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on friends, family, and even strangers. 

As we remember David, we celebrate a man who not only served his country but also dedicated himself to making the world a better place. His legacy lies in the countless lives he enriched through his selflessness and unwavering generosity. David will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him.
