Dawn Marie Mancuso, née Pugliese, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was born on May 7, 1936, in Herkimer, New York. Dawn's life was marked by her loving dedication to her family, which adored her. Family gatherings gave her enormous joy.  Dawn dedicated many years of service at LCSD1 Nutrition Services, where she truly loved serving children and those she worked with. 

She is survived by her husband Rocco Mancuso, of Utica, New York; her beloved children: Cynthia Tibbitts, of New Hartford, NY, Joseph Mancuso, of Billings, MT, Mark Mancuso, of Pierre, SD, and Maria Kopper, of Cheyenne, WY; as well as twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren who carry her legacy of love forward. She is preceded in eternity by the following family from Utica, NY: Michael Fanelli, George Fanelli, Mildred “Millie” Fanelli Schaeffer, Margaret “Tootsie” Whalen Fanelli, Joseph Rositano, and Elizabeth “Betty” Peltier Rositano. 

A rosary vigil will be held May 27, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, located at 2222 Russell Avenue in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The funeral service will be May 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Cathedral, 2107 Capitol Avenue, Cheyenne.

Throughout her life, Dawn embodied grace, resilience, and a deep sense of compassion. She passed peacefully surrounded by family, leaving behind a profound impact on all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished by her loved ones and all those who were touched by her.

The family wishes to thank Cheyenne Fire Rescue, medical staff of Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and Davis Hospice Center, who gave exceptional care during her illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Joseph's Children's Home in Torrington, Wyoming.
