Dennis K. Miller, a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, in Fontana, California, at the age of 77. Born on September 15, 1947, in Sacramento, California, Dennis led a life marked by kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication to those around him.
Throughout his life, Dennis worked in security, a profession that showcased his commitment to fostering safety and wellbeing in his community. His career was complemented by his distinguished service as a sergeant in the Army, where he served honorably for eight years. This experience instilled in him a sense of discipline and camaraderie, traits that endeared him to friends and family alike.
Dennis was not just known for his professional accomplishments but also for his remarkable spirit. He was a kind and caring individual who always treated people with respect, making those he interacted with feel valued and at home. His great sense of humor brought joy to many and will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was actively involved in helping those less fortunate than himself, embodying a true spirit of generosity and compassion.
He enjoyed spending his leisure time playing on his computer and embracing the outdoors, where he found peace and solace. His love for nature further reflected his zest for life and adventure.
Dennis took immense pride in his family, celebrating their successes and being a constant source of support and love. He leaves behind his beloved daughters, Brenda Rainwater and Jean Eberhardt and several grandchildren; his cherished granddaughter, Briana Vance; and his dear granddaughter, Patricia Ridley and 2 grandsons Shawn Jacobsen and Robert Davis. He is also survived by his sister, Diane Stout; nephews Randy and Roy Stout; and several great-grandchildren who brought him much joy.
Dennis is preceded in death by his son, Allen Miller, and his parents, Virginia Jett and Glenn Miller. His legacy of love, respect, and laughter will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew him.
As we remember Dennis K. Miller, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life dedicated to family, community, and the values he held dear. His contribution to the world around him will continue to inspire others, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of calling him family and friend.
