Dorothy "Dottie" Reichert left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on February 13th 2026. Dottie along with her twin brother, Dale, were born on January 15, 1942 in Kirksville, Missouri. She was raised on a farm in rural Missouri. After graduating from Putnam Co High School she moved to Kansas City and later moved to Boulder, Colorado where she met her husband Gary. They were married on February 18, 1972. In 1974 they welcomed their only child Elizabeth. After several moves they settled in Cheyenne, WY. Dorothy worked at American National Bank and later Memorial Hospital, now know as CRMC in the Nursing Training and Education department.  In 2012 her granddaughter Ashley was born. She was the light of Dottie's life. They spent many hours together watching cartoons and going shopping at Target. They loved to go to Mondellos for pizza slices after school. They had a very special bond. 

Dottie was diagnosed with cancer in October of 2024. She endured a long hard batttle, and fought to live until the very end.  Dottie is survived by her husband Gary. Daughter Elizabeth (Bryan) Beyer and granddaughter Ashley Beyer as well as her twin brother Dale Lawrence, Nephew Dale Lawrence Jr, and children ES, Austin and Anna, Ernest Lawrence, wife Karen and children Casey, Sara and Daniel. As well as her bonus daughter Kim (Jason) Knight and her boys Jeffrey and Colt. She was preceded in death by her parents Pansy and Ernest Lawrence, her grandson Bryson Beyer, and her niece Teresa Heinrichsen.

At Dottie's request, no services will be held. A family memorial gathering will be held in Missouri at a later date. Donations can be made in her name to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter in lieu of flowers.
