Harold Ray Erickson, known fondly as "Erick," was born on August 7, 1963, in Fort Riley, Junction City, Kansas. He passed away peacefully at home on July 29, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Erick dedicated his life to serving others, showcasing his talents and expertise through a remarkable career as a Sheriff Deputy, an airline mechanic, Ford master mechanic, and CDL Class A hazmat truck driver. He also served diligently in the United States Air Force, a time he cherished and felt proud of. His years in the Sheriff Department for San Diego County, California and Pierce County, Washington, were particularly meaningful to him, and his contributions to the community will always be remembered.

Educationally, Erick was committed to excellence, earning an Airline Mechanic Certificate, a Ford Master Mechanic Certificate, and a CDL Class A for dual trailers. His strong work ethic and determination exemplified the kindhearted, strong-willed, and generous man he was. He treated others fairly and was a steadfast friend to many, embodying the qualities of loyalty and camaraderie.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Erick had a profound love for the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing, often finding solace and joy in nature. His passions extended to working on cars and helping people, endeavors that brought him immense satisfaction.

Erick is survived by his beloved family, including his sweetheart and dear friend. He was a friend and father to many who will miss him dearly. His adult children, Stephanie, Christopher, Jeffrey, Brian, Kaitlynn, and Dalton, carry forward his spirit and legacy. He is also survived by his mother, Ruth; his sister, Manuela; his brother-in-law, Victor; and his brother, Manuel.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry.

Harold Ray Erickson will be remembered not only for his accomplishments and dedication but also for his undeniable zest for life and the lasting impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his kindness.
