Floyd James Alcon, beloved husband, friend, and cherished community member, passed away on December 3, 2025, in his hometown of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Floyd dedicated much of his professional life to serving as a Core Engineer with the Wyoming Department of Transportation, where he built a reputation for his hard work and steadfast commitment to his role. Outside of his career, Floyd was a man of deep connection and passion. He devoted his time to his beloved wife, Donna Gibbons, with whom he shared a remarkable bond. Floyd often reflected on his proudest accomplishment—their beautiful marriage. Together, they created a nurturing and loving home filled with laughter and joy.

Floyd was a true friend at heart, embracing life with open arms. He loved socializing, cherishing those moments spent with friends that enriched his life. His home was a sanctuary where he enjoyed watching movies and indulging in his hobby of crafting jewelry from exquisite minerals. A Celebration of Life in honor of Floyd will be held on January 11, 2026, at Keg 'n Kork Liquors & Lounge in Cheyenne, starting at 2:00 PM, with moments of remembrance to continue until 5:00 PM. All who wish to celebrate his wonderful life and the impact he made are welcome to join.
