Frances (Fran) Kaminski 1937- Frances (Fran) Kaminski passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 88 in Chandler, AZ. Fran was born on November 17, 1937 in Camden, NJ, and grew up near Washington D.C. Fran was the youngest of three children and lived a life marked by compassion, service, adventure and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. After high school, Fran moved to Colorado and attended the University of Colorado, where she met her beloved husband, George. The couple shared a passion for the outdoors and initially settled in Cheyenne, WY, in 1960. There, they embraced a life filled with the joys of raising four children while training paint horses and Labrador retriever dogs for competition and pleasure.
Fran's love for adventure never waned as she found beauty and joy in every place she lived, including Arizona and later returning to Wyoming, first to Sheridan and eventually back to Cheyenne. Her passion for life was infectious, and she cherished the natural world around her. Her faith in Christ was a bedrock of her life as she put her faith into practice.
Fran is survived by her children, Paul, Kathy, Mike, and Anne. She was preceded in death by her husband, George. Her legacy is carried on through her family and the many lives she touched with her spirited and loving nature.
Memorial services will be held at St. Mary's Church, 2107 Capitol Avenue, Cheyenne, WY 82001, on October 8, 2026, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society in Fran's memory, honoring her compassionate spirit and enduring love for others.
