Gary James Snay passed away on September 1, 2026 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was born on February 8, 1958, in Munich Germany.

Gary moved to Ft. Worth, Texas at the age of two and grew up in the greater Dallas area. He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed his time with his grandchildren. He loved football, animals of all sizes, and was always looking to help those he cared about.

Gary is survived by his mother Elfride Snay; his three children Chaunte Schwartz, Amanda Snay, and Gary Snay II; and his five grandchildren, Tyler, Adrian, Madisyn, Lily, and Benjamin.

He is preceded in death by his sister Diane and father Charles.
