Gayle Roberts, born on September 22, 1949, in Beacon, NY, decided that June 7th at 9:47 a.m. was a good time to go home!
She peacefully left us in the presence of her loving family at Thunder Bird Medical Center in Glendale Arizona. She is survived by her two sisters, Luanne Roberts & Colleen Muchmore of Cheyenne, WY; her brother, Dwight Roberts of Centennial, CO; two sons, Josh Brown of Cheyenne, WY & Jacob Brown of Dillon, CO; daughter, Natasha Podgornik of Cheyenne, WY; three granddaughters, Lily Podgornik, AJ Brown, & Rebecca Brown; two grandsons, Merrick Brown & Levi Brown; great-granddaughter, Arwen Cobb; and so many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, & great-nephews.
Her calling in life was fulfilled as she walked through life with a hand in God’s hand as a clergywoman. She helped and touched so many people and their lives. No matter what she had her mind made up to do, she would succeed at it. If you ever had the pleasure of spending time with her, your life was made all the better for knowing her. We as a family hope that instead of wishing she was still with us, you’ll all go forward and share all your precious memories of her with others. We can keep her memory alive through the joy and happiness of having been a part of her story! She’s now on to the next chapter of that story so it’s never goodbye but “See ya later!”.
Our family is so thankful and amazed at the outpouring of concern, love, and support. Thank you!
In lieu of flowers, we are asking you to please donate in her honor to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter or Heifer International.
Services will be held at Frontier United Methodist, 1888 E Four Mile Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82009 at 10:30 AM on June 30th, 2022. Officiating is Hannah Villnave of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Cheyenne.
