Ginger E. DiJohn passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on January 26, 1945, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Ginger began her career as a hairdresser. Her passion for learning and educating others led her to become a teacher with LCSD #1. In her later years, Ginger retired as a dispatcher from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
A proud alumnus of Cheyenne East High School, Ginger further pursued her education, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Wyoming.
Ginger was deeply involved with the Order of the Eastern Star, Harmony Chapter #53, where she served in numerous capacities. Her favorite role was that of the Grand Pianist, a position that allowed her to share her love for music with others. Ginger was an avid crocheter, dedicating her time to lovingly create newborn caps for the babies of Cheyenne, demonstrating her kindness and care for others.
She leaves behind her daughter, Melanie DiJohn, and son, Aaron DiJohn (Barb), as well as grandchildren: Christina DiJohn, Danielle (Jacob) Siskey, Samantha DiJohn, Anthony DiJohn, and Ty DiJohn. Ginger is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph, and her caring parents, Fred and Helen Sellin.
