Ian Joseph Will

Ian Joseph Will passed away on July 2, 2025 in Lakewood, Colorado following a tragic car and pedestrian accident. He was born on June 2, 1990 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Randy and Patricia Will.

Ian was raised in Cheyenne attending St. Mary’s School, Carey Junior High, Central High and Laramie County Community College. He studied piano and oboe, was a member of the All City Children’s Chorus, school bands and choirs and studied tap and hip hop at En Avant Dance Studio. He enjoyed baseball, track and basketball in his youth.

Ian was bright, witty and charming. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to family, friend or stranger. He will be remembered for attention to detail and the ability to “McGyver” any tool or implement he needed.

He is preceded in death by his father Randy Will, sister Carisa Will Thomas, aunt Margy Will, grandparents Eleanore Madigan, Oscar and Dorothy Will.

Ian is survived by his mother Patricia Will, niece Liadan Thomas, grandfather J. Pat Madigan, aunt Kathy (Steve) Blackburn and uncles Dennis Madigan, Kevin (Karen) Madigan, Roger Will and numerous cousins.
