Ingeborg Nelson

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery with The Reverend Bob Garrard officiating. Ingeborg Elizabeth (Olson) Nelson, 91, passed away into eternal life Wednesday, January 13, 2010, in Akron, Ohio. Mrs. Nelson was born in rural Lindsborg, Kansas, to August and Ada Olson on March 18, 1918. She was educated for eight years in a one room country school and graduated from high school in Kansas in 1935. She moved to Wyoming and was employed by F.W. Woolworth until her retirement. She married Carl Nelson, the love of her life, in 1940. Carl passed away in 1973. She will also be remembered for her talent as a self-taught pianist who loved to play the piano without the ability of reading music. Ingeborg is survived by one brother, James B. Olson of Harlingen, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband; one brother and two sisters.
