Jessie David
Six-Dones
Jul 17, 1996 — Jun 15, 2026
Jessie’s presence was a cherished light in the lives of family and friends.
With heavy hearts and loving memories, we share the passing of Jessie David Six-Dones, affectionately known to many as Jess, who left us on June 15, 2026, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Born on July 17, 1996, in Longmont, Colorado, Jessie’s journey was one of kindness, connection, and accomplishment, radiating warmth to all fortunate enough to know him.
Jessie’s presence was a cherished light in the lives of family and friends. Those who will forever hold Jessie in their hearts include his Dad Kurk Dones of Colorado, Angela Rucker, his momma and Steve Rucker, step-dad of Lanexa Virginia, Alex Rucker and Nick Rucker his younger brothers from Grottoes Virginia, Nana Six from West Des Moines Iowa. Joy Bray his girlfriend of 8 years, from Colorado. Their entwined lives were enriched immeasurably by Jessie’s steadfast love, open-hearted conversation, and boundless support. The love and lessons passed on by a beloved Papa, Donald Six, who preceded Jessie in death, continue to echo through Jessie’s spirit and legacy.
Born and raised in the scenic landscapes of Colorado, Jessie’s sense of belonging and joy bloomed alongside the majestic backdrop of their birthplace. Through each chapter of life, whether marked by laughter, adventure, or quiet reflection, Jessie cultivated bonds that would last a lifetime. Friends and family will remember the passion with which Jessie approached the world—embracing every opportunity to listen, encourage, and celebrate the successes of others.
To know Jess was to understand generosity of heart: someone who believed in the power of kindness, the importance of shared joy, and the enduring value of steadfast friendship and family ties. The imprint left by Jessie’s life stretches across years and miles, a testament to their spirit, compassion, and profound sense of connection.
We hold those memories close, honoring Jessie not just for the milestones achieved, but for the laughter, comfort, and inspiration so freely given.
Though Jessie’s journey ended too soon, the stories, memories, and love sown over nearly three decades now live on in the hearts of those they touched. We hold those memories close, honoring Jessie not just for the milestones achieved, but for the laughter, comfort, and inspiration so freely given.
As we mourn, we also celebrate a life lived with authenticity, tenderness, and profound impact—a life whose gifts will not be forgotten.
