John William "JW" "Dubb" Balczewski, born January 8, 1980, passed unexpectedly on November 28, 2025.
JW was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming and made his home in Burns, Wyoming. He was the kindest and most loving person you could ever meet-someone whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and warmth to everyone around him.
JW's gentle heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be profoundly missed. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and love that will never be forgotten.
He loved his Kansas City Cheifs boldly, but just loved to watch football in general. He was so friendly, that he never met a stranger. A smile and a conversation everywhere he went.
He is survived by his mother Monica Balczewski; his wife Dana Garcia (Balczewski) ; his son Kaylum; his daughter Kodie; his sister Alexandra Davis (Balczewski); and his cherished granddaughter Delilah, who brought him endless joy and his most recent nickname (which he loved) "Guy". He is also survived by his cousin Carrie Lumsden, who is he was very close to; his best friends who were like brothers Robert Andrews and Justin Pierce, as well as his uncle and aunt and several cousins. He is also survived by countless friends whose lives he touched who will hold his memory close.
