Larry Dean Horton, age 86, formerly of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born in Yoder, Wyoming, one of eleven children, Larry married his beloved wife Sharon in 1957, sharing nearly seven decades of marriage. He served six years in the Army Reserves and five years as a firefighter and spent much of his career as a crane operator and business agent for the operating engineers union.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, his daughter, Debbie, two sisters, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sons, Craig and Randy.

Larry will be remembered for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and deep devotion to his family.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11am at Mountainview Memorial Park on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
