A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with The Reverend Bob Garrard officiating. Cremation will take place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. A service will also be held by Lee’s family at the First Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Monday, March 8, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. Lee S. Stover, 22, of Fountain, Colorado, went to be with the Lord February 24, 2010. He died in his sleep from natural causes at his home in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was born June 1, 1987, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the son of Robert and Teri Stover. He was the youngest of three boys. He graduated Cum Laude from Whitworth University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, after only three years of study. Post graduation, he faithfully served as the Director of Youth Ministries at First Presbyterian Church, Cheyenne, Wyoming. His love for the Lord was manifested in his love for the youth which he served. His dream was to attend seminary and seek ordination as a pastor. He is survived by his mother and father, Robert and Teri Stover of Fountain, Colorado; brother, sister-in-law and nephew, Ryan, Leanne and Mason Stover of Westcliffe, Colorado; brother, sister-in-law and niece, Luke, Caroline and Annsley Stover of Weilerbach, Germany; and grandparents Jim and Joan Stover of Divide, Colorado. Mr. Stover was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Helen Whipple. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Lee’s honor at First Presbyterian Church, 220 West 22nd Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001.
