Linda S Hippe

Memorial service for Linda Sue Hippe is Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. at King of Glory Lutheran Church of Cheyenne. Linda died on July 13, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado. She was 78 years old. 

Linda was born on June 27, 1948, in Longmont, Colorado, the daughter of Benny Jack Simmons and Ethel Irene (Philpot) Simmons on June 27, 1948. On February 18, 1973, she married John Hippe at Trinity Lutheran Church of Riverton, Wyoming. Linda lived in Colorado for 31 years, California 7 years, Riverton 7 years, Gas Hills 4 years, Bairoil 6 years, Rawlins 11 years, and Cheyenne 12 years. 

She was retired, having worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Healthcare Industry, usually the front desk person in dentist and doctor offices. Linda enjoyed camping, riding in her side by side, spending time with her family, the activities at Church, and her dogs.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Benny Simmons.

Survivors include her husband John Hippe of Cheyenne; son J.P. (John) and his wife Karen of Cheyenne; 5 nephews and 5 nieces. 

Memorials may be to King of Glory Lutheran Church of Cheyenne or Black Dog Animal Rescue of Cheyenne.
