Lorie Kenworthy

June 28, 1952 — September 6, 2025

Cheyenne, WY

Lorie Kenworthy of Cheyenne, WY Crossed beyond the veil on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 in Cheyenne. She was born in Chicago, IL on June 28th, 1952.

Lorie married Charles Kenworthy on August 24th, 1991 at the Vedauwoo Glen Picnic Area. She'd married & divorced twice before.

Lorie loved her Children and Stepchildren. Yearly vacations with her family were very meticulously planned, with the kids firmly in the middle of the outings. Whether to; Mt. Rushmore, Pike's Peak, The Scottish/Highland Games in Estes Park, Devil's Tower, Thermopolis Fossil Dig & Hot Springs, Yellowstone Park, or The Bighorns she always made sure they learned as well as enjoyed the trip.

Lorie loved traveling around the U.S. with Charles, a truck driver. She visited many museums, and enjoyed regional cuisine wherever they stopped. She always looked forward to seeing her family whenever the route drew close to their homes. She could only stand to travel in the confining space of a truck for six months at a time. Then, she went to home to recharge, center herself, and cook and freeze to give him meals whenever he came through Cheyenne.

Lorie also loved her job as a Night Auditor. First for the Motel 8 for several years, then for Candlewood Suites until she retired in Spring 2024. She especially loved making people comfortable as a Hospitality Worker.

Lorie is survived by her husband Charles Kenworthy of Cheyenne, WY ;Her Daughters L'onee King of Cleveland OH, Faith Quiroga of Locust Grove VA, Elizabeth Walgren of Silt CO and her sons, Jim Andrews of Council Bluffs IA, Jason Zillich Of Heber Springs AR, Jeffrey Kenworthy of San Antonio TX, Chris Kenworthy of South Jordan UT, also 13 Grandchildren & Six Great-Grandchildren.
