May 21, 1941 — September 30, 2025

Cheyenne

Lurleene Eva Flores, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025.

She was more than a mother—she was a best friend, a teacher, and a source of strength and laughter for everyone who knew her. She had a kind heart, a sharp wit, and just enough fiery spirit to make life interesting. Whether she was helping with school projects late into the night, offering wise advice, or cracking a joke at the perfect moment, she made every moment meaningful.

She was an incredibly talented and hardworking woman. Together with her husband, Tonie Flores, she ran their family business, T and L Aircraft Upholstery, where their craftsmanship and teamwork shone for many years. Before that, they worked side by side upholstering home furnishings and even the classic Excalibur cars. My parents both valued family deeply and loved each other so much. They were married for 56 years, and after my dad passed away just one year ago, my mom was never quite the same—his passing left a void that could never be filled.

Later in life, after moving to Cheyenne, she continued to share her gift as a skilled seamstress for Elite Cleaners, earning the respect and friendship of many in the community.

She was also a wonderful grandmother, though she often doubted herself. Her grandchildren adored her deeply and will always remember her love, humor, and warmth. Her love for animals, especially her Boston terrier, Beau, was another reflection of her gentle and caring nature.

One of her greatest wishes was for her name to carry on. Her heart was full when she met her great-granddaughter, Eva Jean, knowing that both her name and her own mother’s name would live on through her.

She leaves behind her daughter, EvaLyn Flores, and her sons, Michael Flores and Greg Flores. She is also remembered with love by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, dear friends, and all who were touched by her kindness.

Now she is home in heaven with Dad, and may the Lord bless her and keep her always. Though our hearts ache, we find peace knowing she is reunited with Dad and resting in the loving arms of the Lord.

Her presence in our lives was a gift that can never be replaced, and her memory will continue to bring light and love to all who knew her.
