Marion Reeder was born August 30th of 1935 in Cheyenne to John and Hazel Reeder. He was raised on the family ranch in Carpenter with his brother Marvin Reeder where they raised cattle, pigs and worked from horseback. Marion's father John passed away at a young age and his mother remarried to Harvey Miller. Harvey raised the boys until his passing when Marion was in junior high, at that time Marion was finished going to school and stayed to help his mother on the ranch. Marion also worked at A&C Feed and delivered feed to the local community and to the Laramie area. He married Saundra West and had two children Jodee and Chris, both of his children worked the ranch and were involved in 4H and FFA which he was always proud to talk about. Marion spent a lot of time with his granddaughters Jaime and Jessica following to sporting events and fair. He taught them both about the pigs and cattle with Chris's input. Marion had a lot of friends and had an active social life and greatly enjoyed teasing and a good laugh. When the MS got to the point he could no longer run a cow calf operation he switched to his yearlings that he ran up until his last year. Before he was done he had trained the great grandkids to work the cattle and yearlings the right way. He was proceeded in death by his Father John Reeder, step father Harvey Miller, Mother Hazel Reeder, brother Marvin Reeder, son Chris Reeder, daughter Jodee Rhoades. Marion passed on April 23 and is survived by Grand daughters Jaime Wiggam and Jessica Streeter and three great grandchildren Hanna and Wyatt Wiggam and Jackson Streeter
