Obituary for Martin M. Lawson
Martin M. Lawson, 49, of San Bernardino, California, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and legendary family tales.
Martin was born on August 18, 1975, in Indio, California, to Martin M. Lawson Sr. and Rosalie P. Lawson. Growing up alongside his siblings Jason, Aaron, Winona, Karista, and Melony, he was the peacemaker in their childhood adventures, always diffusing sibling wars with his quick wit and a well-timed offer of wisdom to broker peace.
Martin’s proudest role was as a devoted father to his son, Nolan. The two shared countless joyful moments gaming, bike riding through scenic trails, and exploring nature. His Christian faith recently became central to his life, sparking a transformation that radiated kindness and hope to everyone around him.
Martin’s love for his family shined in his animated storytelling about his siblings and his pride in Nolan’s every milestone. He worked as a dedicated manager in the restaurant business for years, where he was known for serving up smiles, building up teams, and handing off the reigns of leadership to others.
Martin is survived by his father, Martin M. Lawson Sr.; his mother, Rosalie P. Lawson; his son, Nolan Lawson; his siblings, Jason, Aaron, Winona, Karista, and Melony; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish his infectious laugh and questionable dance moves.
