Mary Ann Legerski

Mary Ann (Dumont) Legerski was born June 23, 1943 in Gallup, New Mexico to Albert and Beatrice (Wendel) Dumont, and died March 16, 2023, at the age of 79.

She first attended Woodland Park School in Sheridan, WY, graduated from Sheridan High School in 1962. Mary Ann attended Sheridan College and the University of Wyoming.

Mary Ann was employed at the Laramie County Library, then at the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She worked many years at the Wyoming State Forestry Division, retiring after being diagnosed with MS, she fought the battle of MS for over 40 years never giving in to the disease.

Mary Ann had many interests, she enjoyed sewing making quilts for friends newborn children, she made her own clothes and embroidered many gifts for nieces and nephews. Mary Ann loved books and was a avid reader. She enjoyed cooking, and had a great love for animals.

Mary Ann married David Legerski on June 27, 1964 at Holy Name Church in Sheridan, WY. After they were married they made thier home in Cheyenne, WY.

Mary Ann was preceeded in death by her parents Albert and Beatrice Dumont.

She is survived by her husband David, son Jeffery Allen Legerski, and Daughter Anne Marie Legerski, her sister Suzanne Dickerson of Leadsburg, FL, and several neices and nephews.

Mary Ann gave her life to God. Mary Ann was the best wife and Mother.

Mary Ann's Rosary will be said on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at 3:00 PM at St Mary's Church in Cheyenne, WY; Funeral Service at 10:00 Am June 15, 2023 at St Mary's Church in Cheyenne WY.
