Mary (Thibodeau) McKeage of Cheyenne Wyoming Died at Davis Hospice on June 6 2025 following a brief decline, surrounded by family.
She was born in Franklin, New Hampshire, the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Petelle) Thibodeau on July 8th 1930. She graduated from St. Mary's school, and Franklin High School in 1948.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Frank G McKeage; brother, Lt Earl J. Thibodeau: brother Charles H. Thibodeau: sister Helen (Thibodeau) Fuller; sister Doris (Thibodeau) Orizzonto, son Christopher S. McKeage, and her long time partner George S. Ewing.
Mary is survived by daughter, Cheryl (McKeage) Mair, husband Howard, of Cheyenne Wyoming: granddaughters Capt Amelia Mair, USAF, of Okinawa Japan and Helen Mair of Cheyenne; grandson MSgt Aaron C. McKeage, wife Jessica, and great grandchildren Cheyenne and Weston, of Syracuse Utah.
In 1953 she married Frank G. McKeage, a USAF career servicemember, and for 17 years traveled throughout the U.S. and spent a year in Misawa Japan. In 1970 they returned to Franklin, New Hampshire.
Mary was very devoted to her family, as they were to her. She loved to work hard, play hard, and had a terrific sense of humor, putting those around her at ease. She worked tirelessly for the city of Franklin and was well known and respected. She loved crafting and yard sailing, and loved teaching others to enjoy the same.
In her 92nd year, she won best halloween costume at Pt Frontier Adult Living Community where she lived.
Mass will be said for her at St Gabriel's Church in Franklin, NH on Sept 7th at 10:30. A luncheon will follow at 12:30 at the Franklin VFW NH Post 1698 26 Peabody Place.
Among her belongings was a quote: "May we always remember the good times..... And always make more of them in the time ahead."
She will be interred in the National Cemetery, along side her beloved husband Frank.
