Matthew Harris Hager

Matthew Harris Hager, 56, of Cheyenne died August 30, 2025. He was born April 13, 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland to Joseph and Sharon Hager.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Brandi, his son, Weston, of Tahoe, his daughters, Cassidy and Paige (Aidan), of Cheyenne, his mother, Sharon, and sister, Christine, both of Texas, and his sister, Cathy (Andy), of Alaska. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Hager and grandmother Lucy Barnhart.

In 1993, he was stationed as an officer at F.E. Warren Air Force Base. This is where he met his wife and they began their adventures. He loved spending time with his family hiking, kayaking, taking early morning walks with Brandi, skiing and biking with Weston, attending ballets and symphonies with his girls, trips to the mountains, hanging out with his neighbors, and so much more. Matthew also thoroughly enjoyed both his men’s Bible study group and their couples Bible study group. His children brought so much joy to him. It is hard to imagine life without him. He loved the Lord and will be forever missed by his family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at Cheyenne Hills Church on Friday September 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
