Melissa grew up in Louisiana.  At an early age, she loved to read and enjoyed books.  She turned this love in getting her bachelor degree in English and Masters degree in English.  She enjoyed learning new things and had a curious mind.  She had strength of character and forged her own path and was very independent.  She was married to Donnie McDonald for over 19 years and made Cheyenne, WY her home.  She enjoyed her four cats Zoe, Izzy, Jackson, and Oreo. She has her parents Billy and Ruth Garner,, brother Michael Garner, and was preceded by her sister Melinda and all her grand parents. Melissa was a loving wife and daughter and will be loved and missed forever.
