Minnie Valdez

Minnie Valdez, 94, of Cheyenne passed away September 29, 2019 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born July 21, 1925 in Ocate, NM to Daniel and Adelia Duran. She married Julian Valdez in Cheyenne and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Lorine Vega, Leopoldo Valdez, Roque Valdez, Liz Valdez, Monica Safford and Pamela Valdez; six siblings; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and children, Maria Valdez, Mariano Valdez, Edith Valdez, Andrew Valdez, Eddie Valdez and Julian Valdez, Jr.; and 4 siblings. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with interment of her urn in Beth El Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Children's Home.
