Obituary

Patrick Kevin Leggett, affectionately known as “Pattycake,” passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, in Cheyenne at the age of 63.

Patrick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, family man, and friend whose kindness, humor, and loving heart touched the lives of many. He was known for his warm smile, gentle spirit, and ability to make others feel welcomed and valued. Whether sharing a laugh, offering words of encouragement, or simply being present for those he loved, Patrick left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Above all else, Patrick cherished his family. He shared a loving life with his wife, Rebecca Erb-Hackett, and found his greatest joy in spending time with his children, grandchildren, and loved ones. His love, guidance, and unwavering support will be remembered and treasured by those he leaves behind.

Patrick is survived by his beloved wife, Rebecca Erb-Hackett; his children, Brittaney and Colton Storm and their three daughters; Justin Erb and his two sons; Elizabeth and Dustin Welsh and their son and daughter; Dale Hackett and his girlfriend, Kaitlyn Styker, and their four sons and one daughter; and Kirsten Hackett and her fiancé, Nicolas Garcia, and their two sons and two daughters, with another grandchild expected in September. He also leaves behind many extended family members, dear friends, and loved ones who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Dalvin Leggett; his mother, Constance Leggett; his brother, Randy Leggett; and his sister, Ronda Leggett.

Patrick’s family finds comfort in the countless memories they shared with him and in the love he gave so freely throughout his life. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of kindness, laughter, and devotion to family will continue through the generations that follow.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered prayers, support, and kindness during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to assist with final expenses are gratefully appreciated.

“Those we love never truly leave us. They live on in the stories we share, the love they gave, and the memories we hold dear.”

Patrick “Pattycake” Leggett will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
