A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, August 30, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel with Pastor Roger Rapp officiating. An interment service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery with a reception to follow at the funeral home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home. Mrs. Pearl Barrington McKinney, 95, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away late Thursday evening, August 26, 2010, at Mountain Towers Healthcare in Cheyenne. Pearl was born October 14, 1914, in Bridgeport, Nebraska, a daughter of the late George and Stella Rose (Weimer) DeGraw. In 1953, she established Barrington Realty and she continued working as a real estate broker until her retirement in 1985. During that period, she married Robert C. McKinney in 1967 in Orange County, California, until his untimely passing in 1978. Her interest in real estate led to numerous accomplishments including being a member of the Wyoming Board of Realtors, first woman president of the Cheyenne Board of Realtors, one of three founders of the Cheyenne Multiple Listing Exchange, and past member of the Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce. She was particularly proud of her service as a founding member of the Cancer Assistance Association of Cheyenne, her membership in AARP, Daughters of the Nile (Alpha Chapter), Mizpah Chapter #36, O.E.S., the First Congregational Church of Cheyenne, and as a Girl Scout leader for 10 years. Pearl is survived by two daughters, Rita Walker and husband, William, of Cheyenne, and Karen Tucker and husband, Larry, of Hailey, ID; nine grandchildren, William Thompson, David Thompson and wife, Karen, Candace Simco and husband, Larry, Joseph Tucker and wife, Caroline, Gary Tucker and wife, Susan, Sabra Anderson and husband, Eric, Stacy Monson, William Walker and wife, Claire, and Stephen Walker; 17 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Stephen Barrington; her second husband, Robert McKinney; a daughter, Janice Arlene Thompson; eight sisters, Hannah Dexter, Iris Herzberg, Mae Carey, Nellie Michael, Georgia Thompson, Eunice Bassett, Laura Day and Lorraine Stapleton; four brothers, Frederick DeGraw, Eugene DeGraw, Andrew DeGraw and infant, Ford DeGraw; a grandson, Richard Stephen Thompson; and a great-grandson, Hunter Monson.
