A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at 4:00 P.M. at the First Congregational Church with the Reverend J.D. Megason officiating. Cremation will take place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. Randy E. Will, 56, of Cheyenne passed away January 29, 2010, at his home following a two year battle with cancer. Randy was born to Oscar R. and Dorothy (Fedler) Will on May 25, 1953, in Cheyenne Wyoming. He married Patricia Madigan Seslar on Aug. 7, 1987. He graduated from East High in 1971 and from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Music Education and also received an associate degree from LCCC. He taught in Pine Bluffs and worked as a clerk for two branches of the Federal Government for 16 years. Randy played French horn in the Frontier Winds Quintet, the Mixed-Up Brass, the Cheyenne Civic Concert Band and the LCCC Wind Symphony. He was a member of the First Congregational Church and was active on the deaconate board and in the music ministries. Randy was an Eagle Scout and served as a Cub Scout Den Leader and Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 101. Randy had served as a parent volunteer for St. Mary’s School and the Cheyenne All-City Children’s Chorus. He had also served as Treasurer of the Cheyenne Noon Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, his daughter, Carisa Will, and his son, Ian Will, all of Cheyenne. He is also survived by a brother, Roger Will and wife, Margy, of Punta Gorda, Florida; nephews, Mark Will and wife, Julie, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, and Todd Will of Camdenton, Missouri; and extended family members, J. Pat, Dennis and Kevin Madigan of Cheyenne and Kathy Blackburn of Sterling, Virginia, and their families. Expressions of sympathy in Randy’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
