Neighbors and friends often commented on how beautiful his yard looked. If he visited family in the summer, he couldn't stay long because he had to get home to water his lawn.
Ken valued his family and hos love for them was often shown by his generosity and offered support whenever needed. When he had time off from work or after his retirement, Ken and his brother Bill would travel to visit family in Wyoming and Nebraska. Ken was also the family member who placed flowers on gravesites in Torrington and Glendo, every Memorial Day.
Ken valued friendships an stayed in contact with many high school friends and construction coworkers until his passing. He also had many breakfasts and lunches, with his network of "buddies" in Cheyenne. Ken enjoyed his "scratchies "and took many trips to Colorado with friends to pick up his scrathy cards and lottery tickets.
