Richard Leyo

Richard J. Leyo, 68, of Cheyenne died August 8, 2015, at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center. He was born December 15, 1946, in Gallitzin, PA. He was retired from the construction industry. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, American Legion Post #6, a life member of the VFW #4343 and the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his children, Scott Leyo of Cheyenne, Christopher Leyo of Cheyenne, Nicholas Leyo of LaSalle, CO, and Richelle Mendoza of Wheatland; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Leyo; and a grandson. A Vigil for the Deceased will be Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A Funeral Liturgy will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 13th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Fr. Carl Gallinger celebrating. Interment will follow in Olivet Cemetery.
