Robert "Bob" Anthony Vogt

July 1, 1951 — June 11, 2025

Cheyenne

Robert Anthony Vogt Jr. passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, June 11th in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the age of 73. Bob is survived and missed by his loving wife of 53 years Ruth Vogt, and his two sons Christopher Vogt, and Timothy Vogt. He will be forever cherished and remembered by his 5 grandchildren, Austin Salazar, Tristin Vogt, Robert Vogt, Mairyn Vogt, and Brielle Mulvihill.

Bob was born in Rochester, NY on July 1st, 1951, a son of Robert and Jean Vogt. He enlisted in the Air Force to serve in the Vietnam war when he was 19 years old. Upon his return he chose to continue to pursue a career in the military, where he gave 21 wonderful years serving his country. Bob had a great passion for the Old West and used to always say that he was born in the wrong era. Scout Master, musician, gunslinger, veteran, but most of all an amazing husband, father, grandpa, and friend.

His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The funeral will be held at Schrader Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 24th @ 9:30 am. All friends and family are welcome.
