Robert Moore Stevens

Robert Moore Stevens, affectionately known as Bob, was born on December 30, 1939, in Syracuse, New York. He departed this life on April 29, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, leaving behind a legacy marked by dedication, adventure, and love for his family.

A devoted family man, Bob cherished spending time with his loved ones. He is survived by his wife Marge, sons Daniel and David, and daughter Elizabeth. Bob's adventurous spirit was complemented by his passions; he loved woodworking and cabinet making, spending hours immersed in his projects. His love for reading, particularly his favorite science fiction books, brought him great joy and fueled his imagination.

Professionally, Bob had a distinguished career spanning over 40 years as an electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). His knowledge and commitment to his trade were evident throughout his life. Educated at Bloomfield High School and Bloomfield Vocational School, he honed his skills and became a respected member of his profession.

Bob served honorably in the United States Army from 1958 to 1961, a chapter of his life that added depth to his character and sense of duty. After his military service, he returned to civilian life and dedicated himself to both his profession and his family.

An outdoor enthusiast, Bob loved spending time with his horses and enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, Marge. His adventurous nature and zest for life were apparent to all who knew him.

In addition to his immediate family, Bob was preceded in death by his mother Ardis Moore, father Vernet Stevens, and brother Barry Stevens. Their memories will forever be cherished by those who remain.

A memorial service in honor of Bob Stevens will take place on May 28, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM at North Christian Church, located at 2015 Tranquility Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82009. Following the service, all are invited to gather for a reception at The Office Bar and Grill, located at 1600 E Pershing Blvd, Cheyenne, WY 82001. A private burial service will follow on May 29, 2025, at the Cheyenne National Cemetery at 10:00 AM.

Robert Moore Stevens will be remembered for his kindness, expertise, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
