Rosemary Grosshans

April 20, 1938 — June 1, 2025

Cheyenne

Rosemary was born on April 20, 1938, to Edward and Olga Williams on the Home Farm in Morgan County, Colorado.

Rosemary spent her first few years on the Farm. Then due to the depression, they had to leave the Home Place and move to Waldona, then to Fort Morgan and finally settled in Brush, Colorado, where she spent most of her teenage years, with her five brothers and three sisters.

She attended School in Brush, Colorado.

She met Dale Grosshans and on March 5, 1955, at the age of sixteen. They started their married life together in Brush, Colorado. Dale was working in the oil field and for several years moved to different towns, following the oil boom. They had four sons during this time. Dale left the oil filed work and went to work for Sturges Electric Company in the Denver area, where they lived for several years and raised their sons. Due to a severe accident at work, he had to take a medical retirement. They lived in Durango for a few years, then they decided they wanted to settle in Wyoming, to be closer to their families. They bought a house in Federal, Wyoming, later, in 2001, they moved to a new home in Chugwater, Wyoming, where they lived until her beloved husband went to be with the Father God. Rosemary moved to Cheyenne in 2012, where she purchased a home. During this time, she lost her oldest son and daughter-in-law to Covid. Due to some health issues, she moved to Edgewood Aspen Winds, where she met so many friends and staff that she loved.

Rosemary was a loving wife, mother, friend, and devoted Christian and touched so many lives, with her ministry.

Rosemary was very talented in crocheting, knitting, she was an excellent seamstress, she also made wedding, and anniversary cakes, and she was the best pie baker around. Her family always wanted her pies, at the many family reunions, with her brothers and sisters.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Dale Grosshans, she son Rodney, her daughter-in-law Barbara, and her four brothers: Bob Williams, Harry Williams, John Williams, and Donald Williams.

She is survived by her sons: Leslie Grosshans (Amy), Russel Grosshans (Angie) and Michael Grosshans (Donna), her grandsons: Michael Grosshans and Branden Grosshans (Sebrina), sisters: Dorothy Corder, Shirley Cridlebaugh, and Nancy McDonald (Ronald), her brother Paul Williams (Judy), many nephews, nieces on both sides of the family and many friends.
