Obituary

Sandra Sue Dyer

April 6, 1947 – May 25, 2026

Sandra Sue Dyer, 79, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026. Sandra was born on April 6, 1947, in Riverton, Wyoming, to Clifford and Bonnie Albright.

On December 31, 1966, she married the love of her life, Thomas Dyer, beginning a marriage that spanned nearly 60 years filled with devotion, adventure, and family.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Thomas Dyer; her son, Seth Dyer and wife Cheri; her daughter, Sarah Wallace and husband James; and her brother, Ronald Albright and wife Peggy. She was a proud grandmother to Keeler and wife Madeleine, Chloe, Samantha and husband Gabe, Juniper, Clarabelle, and Heidi, and a deeply loved great-grandmother to Everly, Oliver, Ryker, Russell, Waylon, Dean, and Rowan. Sandra also had several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members whom she loved dearly.

Sandra dedicated many years of hard work in a variety of careers, including real estate and serving as the Water Maintenance Coordinator for the Bureau of Reclamation. No matter where life took the family, Sandra worked tirelessly beside Tom, helping move and build a life together across different states over the years.

Her greatest joy was always her family. Sandra was lovingly known as “Grandma” and “GG,” and she treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was deeply involved in Seth and Sarah’s 4-H and FFA activities and was always there supporting her family in every stage of life.

Sandra also found happiness in the simple beauty of home. She loved gardening and created yards filled with flowers, bird baths, and life. She especially enjoyed feeding and watching the blue jays that visited her yard. Her home was always warm and welcoming, often filled with the smell of something baking in the kitchen. Sandra also dearly loved her two corgis, Pork Chop and especially Pearl, who brought her so much companionship and joy.

In her later years, Sandra enjoyed attending the Cheyenne Seventh-day Adventist Church with her husband, where she found comfort in faith and fellowship.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Bonnie Albright, and her sister, Connie Ward.

Sandra will be remembered for her kindness, strength, dedication to family, and the love she poured into every part of her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
